Roni Deutch
Roni Deutch is regarded as a tax expert for a reason: she has nearly two decades of legal and practical experience resolving IRS tax problems for taxpayers nationwide. Consequently, she has become a well-known media personality and one of the few go-to tax experts in the country.
Roni began practicing law out of her condo in 1991, and transformed her condo-based practice into what is now Roni Deutch, A Professional Tax Corporation. Boasting 21 attorneys and a staff of over 130, The Tax Lady’s law firm has helped thousands of taxpayers resolve their tax debt over the years.
Building upon the success of her law firm, Roni launched her own retail tax preparation company in 2006. One year later, Roni created RDTC, Inc., her tax preparation franchise company, and began selling retail tax preparation franchises under the name “Roni Deutch Tax Center.” In 2009, Entrepreneur.com listed Roni Deutch Tax Center as one of the fastest growing franchise companies in the country.
A respected authority in the tax industry, Roni has provided expert advice and opinion to several national shows such as NBC’s "The Today Show," CNN’s "Your Money" and "Your Bottom Line," and CNBC’s "On the Money," as well as FOX News with Neil Cavuto and FOX Business News with Stuart Varney. She has also made multiple appearances on Air America (The Thom Hartmann Program), among other radio stations, and has been featured in many print articles, such as the Wall Street Journal, Smart Money, Kiplinger's Magazine, Forbes, Los Angeles Times, Chicago Sun-Times, Sacramento Bee, Houston Business Journal, St. Petersburg Times, and the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. Roni is also a regular columnist on WomenEntrepreneur.com.
In the updated edition of her popular book, THE TAX LADY'S GUIDE TO BEATING THE IRS: And Saving Big Bucks on Your Taxes (BenBella Books, January 2010, Paperback Price: $16.95, ISBN 978-193525182-8), Roni makes her valuable advice available to everyone, interpreting new tax laws and revealing little-known insights that will save readers money. This approachable guide provides key advice in creating a tax plan, preparing one’s taxes, and considering the tax consequences of many important life choices, such as education, retirement, investments, or starting a business.
Later this year, Roni will be publishing her second book entitled, SURVIVING THE COMING TAX DISASTER. In this timely book, she explains why the Internal Revenue Service is turning to taxpayers for a bailout through increased taxes and aggressive collection techniques. She also teaches taxpayers how best to prepare and protect themselves from IRS collection efforts. The book empowers all readers, providing them with the courage, knowledge, and confidence to swim, while others will sink during the oncoming tax tsunami.
