Roni's Story
Roni Deutch has always had a competitive spirit, with a desire to win. In her early
years she excelled in baseball, being the first girl in California to play little
league baseball and then later played on a championship team at UC Berkeley where
she was a nationally ranked player. To learn more about Roni’s softball career you

statistics. Roni's love for baseball continued, but her energies shifted
more to her studies. Roni wanted to earn a living, and to help people in the process.
Taxes provided the perfect fit.
Roni knew even before entering law school that she was meant to help the American
taxpayer. Throughout law school she researched and read about the challenges the
American taxpayer was having with the Internal Revenue Service. Roni grew up in
a large family with limited finances and could sympathize with the stress that a
large tax debt could have on a family.
Roni pushed forward with her studies and graduated with a masters in tax law. Once
out of law school Roni’s start was far from glamorous. Saving pennies and maxing
out her credit cards she put ads on television offering her tax services. Soon the
phone in her small condo began to ring. And, it continued to ring.
Many of the taxpayers that couldn’t get out from their debt due to heavy interest
and penalties imposed by the IRS suddenly found relief with Roni’s help. Over time,
Roni grew from a one-person practice in a small condo to the largest tax resolution
law firm in the nation that has employed hundreds of people and helped over fifty
thousand taxpayers across the country. Roni strives to always put the needs of individual
client first. Today, Roni Deutch continues her legal practice and is recognized
nationwide as the leader across the nation in IRS back tax resolution.
The question that has always concerned Roni is why so many taxpayers avoid filing
tax returns or have poorly prepared tax returns that cause them to have tax problems
in the first place.
To help taxpayers avoid tax problems before they start, she founded the Roni Deutch
Tax Center, a tax preparation franchise, dedicated to providing outstanding tax
preparation services. In this way, she can continue to provide legal aid to those
that need help with their tax problems, but more importantly begin to help taxpayers
avoid tax problems before they start by offering competent and affordable tax return
preparation. Today, the Roni Deutch Tax Center franchise continues to grow and is
committed to helping the American taxpayer of all income levels have access to trained
tax professionals. Roni’s expectation is that 1,000 Roni Deutch Tax Center locations
will open across the country over the next five years.
Roni Deutch is the president and chairperson of the board. Roni actively leads the
Roni Deutch Tax Center with her leadership and commitment to outstanding tax service.
The Roni Deutch Tax Center employs talented tax minded people and is headquartered
in North Highlands (Sacramento area), California.
